Participants in the Pullman Civic Trust Bench Project will be working to reclaim a bench seating area along the river walk which has been overgrown and neglected.
- October 1, 3:00 - 6:00 PM
Green Tuesday, a community clean up activity sponsored by Set the Trend and the Homecoming Committee, will provide the opportunity for participants to clean up Pullman. Teams participating in the Homecoming Competition will receive 25 points for contributing to this event.
- October 2, 4:00 - 5:00 PM
The Palouse Food Project will educate participants about organic gardening and community food security as they assist with weeding, watering and harvesting at a local community farm and delivering produce to the food bank.
- October 2, 2:30 - 4:30 PM
The Bellevue Garden Project will provide an opportunity to work beside the Bellevue Community residents and children to create a community garden.
- October 3, 3:30 - 5:30 PM
WSU Dining Services is serving a Be Crimson. Go Green. Dinner at each of the dining centers, Stephenson Dining, Hillside Cafe and Northside Cafe. Menu items that will inspire green thinking include fettucini with basil pesto, green beans, lime jell-o and sugar cookies with green icing!
- October 3, 4:30 - 7:30 PM
The Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute Restoration Project is a day of planting and watering native trees and shrubs, invasive weed control, and plant care around the PCEI campus in Moscow.
- October 6, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

To register for these projects:
- Log on to the CCE website
- Select "Link to SLPro"
- If you are new to SLPro you will need to create your profile. This will take about 15 minutes. If you already have a profile on SLPro, proceed with your log on.
- Once you are logged on, select the "Browse Positions" button on you HOME page
- Choose "Select a community issue to refine your search
- Select "Set the Trend Week"
- Click the "Search Positions" button and it will provide a list of the Set the Trend projects
