Be a Green Citizen
Every Action Counts.
All of our actions impact the health of our community. We all have the ability to minimize our negative impact on the environment and influence others to do the same. We can get involved with local and national organizations who work to preserve our resources for now and the future.
As a Green Citizen I will:
- Reduce waste by buying only what I need, recycling and buying recycled goods
- Reduce my use of resources by becoming aware of the amount of resources I use, walking more often, turning off lights and electronics when not in use, minimizing my water use
- Get involved so that I contribute to community projects, lead and influence cimmunity leaders and be knowledgeable of issues that impact the health of my community
- Vote so that I can influence what decisions will be made for my community and country
- Shop with a global conscience knowing the I can also vote with my wallet
