There are many websites and organizations within your community to learn more about going green.

Alternative Outfitters- is an online clothing store that offerws animal friendly clothing. They offer alternatives to the fashionable clothing that calls for the use of animal skin and also sells shirts that promote a cruelty-free awareness.

Caring Consumer- this site includes lists of companies that do and do not test on animals is also lists PETA friendly reatails, guides to "compassionate clothing" and much more.

Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics- is a group that includes the Amercian Vivisection Society, the American Humane Association and Beauty Without Cruelty, USA. There are guides to purchasing products from cosmetics to household products.

Find Fair Trade Certified Products This site will allow you to search for Fair Trade certified products in your area and at your local stores.

Go Cruelty Free- sponsored by the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) and has a very informative FAQ section that answers any questions you may have about staying cruelty-free. The group enables consumers to easily identify and purchase cruelty-free products.

Moscow Farmer's Market Held in downtown Moscow at the Friendship Square Parking Lot. You can come down every Saturday during May-October from 8am-12pm.

Moscow Food Co-op- This site will give you the locations and hours of operation of the coop as well valuable links to recipes and information on how to become a member.

Treehugger.com: Get news, updates on lesislature that impacts the health of the environment, 'be green' lessons and information to make informed consumer decisions.

Washington State University Organic Farm- This link offers information about the location and times of the Organic Farm here at WSU as well as additional information on how you can volunteer and actively become involved.    

Washington State University Recycling Program: Learn about recycling in campus offices and residence halls, the public recycling station, recycling statistics, Recyclemania '07 and the WSU Waste Wise program.                             

Washington State University Small Farms Team- Another wonderful resource that provides helpful links and further information about CSA's and other small farms here in the state of Washington.

Washington State University Turkey Orchard located just off of Airport Rd. this orchard is a seasonal U-Pick so check out the dates of availabilty as well as prices for produce.
